Coppernose Bluegill & Redear Sunfish

We are proud to offer OTS (Overton's Texas Strain) Coppernose Bluegill in 3 sizes. Coppernose bluegill are universally beneficial in most scenarios, with very few exceptions. Coppernose bluegill will readily accept a floating pelleted diet, have a relatively small mouth, can grow to over 2lbs, have extremely high fecundity (reproductive potential, and taste great too! Stocking rate is up to 1000 per acre.

We are please to offer 3 sizes of Redear Sunfish, also known as "Shell-cracker." Redear Sunfish are important for lake and pond management because they are specialized for eating snails and crustaceans. Snails can carry grub parasites that threaten your fish health, so stocking Redear Sunfish is a great way to control snail populations, produce forage for your predators, and provide another sportfish angling opportunity. Stocking rate is up to 250 per acre.
