Bass and crappie anglers love the Honey Hole Tree because it is a multi-purpose piece of artificial fish habitat. The environmentally safe tubing which is used for the limbs creates 15,000 square inches of surface area for algae, eggs, and insect larvae to attach to, creating an ample food source for baitfish. The dozens of slots around the cone-shaped base allow baitfish access to a place to hide, which in turn attracts larger fish. The flexible limbs provide the ideal place for lunker bass to lay in waiting to ambush their prey. Unlike natural habitat, you can fish through the flexible limbs of this artificial fish structure without snagging your lure, putting more fish in the boat and fewer lures at the bottom of your pond.
A cluster of at least 3 trees in a triangular pattern is the most effective. Sink trees on points or coves and any spot where there is a sharp contrast in water depth. Another prime location is under a floating dock or pier. In deeper water you may want to suspend the tree off the bottom. Most fish, especially bass and crappie, like to suspend off of the bottom when water depths exceed 15 ft. The Honey Hole Tree is the only artificial fish habitat on the market that can be suspended from the bottom.
For each Honey Hole Tree ordered, you will receive: (1) Slotted Cone Base, (93) 36” Limbs, (1) Steel Weight Ring, (1) Eye Bolt
1 Pack - $229
2 Pack - $452
3 Pack - $672
12 Pack - $2640
If you want your pond or lake to produce trophy bass, you have to provide plenty of forage for them to eat. That’s where the Honey Hole Shrub comes in. This piece of artificial fish structure will help boost baitfish production, especially with those species of fish that attach their eggs to vertical substrate, including fathead minnows, golden shiners, and threadfin shad. The establishment of shad populations is particularly critical if your goal is to produce double-digit largemouth bass.
The density of the tubes on this particular piece of artificial structure provides an escape area for smaller fish. Plus, the domed base has diamond slots that allow forage and juvenile fish to take shelter inside. The Shrub will provide these baitfish a ready food source because plankton and insect larvae will cling to the limbs. The vertical tubes also provide a substrate on which the forage fish can lay their eggs. This is a three-fold benefit to improving forage production.
For each Honey Hole Shrub ordered, you will receive: (1) Slotted Dome Base, (84) 26” Limbs, (1) Steel, Powder Coated Weight
1 Pack - $179
2 Pack - $344
3 Pack - $501
12 Pack - $1932
This fish attractor was designed by Pond King’s fisheries biologists specifically to help pond and lake owners with their fish population management. Honey Hole Brush is a quick deploying, complex artificial fish habitat designed to be placed in areas where brush piles would normally be utilized to attract fish. One of the major problems with natural cover like brush is degradation over time within aquatic environments. The Honey Hole Brush provides a permanent surrogate to cover like submerged brush piles with the same amount of structural complexity as most brush when it’s newly deployed.
Like all the Honey Hole Live Series artificial fish habitat, the Honey Hole Brush is made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). The Brush requires some assembly, but it’s easy: you just slide the limbs onto the stem and you are done. The internal weight and float provides a self-righting design, making deployment from the shore or from a boat easy – simply toss into the water! Affordable, durable and easy to use, this complex medium-depth habitat provides instant habitat for multiple species of fish.
Includes: (1) Retainer, (1) Plastic Float, (10) 4’ Horizontal Limbs, (1) 6’ Stem with Weight
$99 each
This fish attractor was designed by Pond King’s fisheries biologists to be vertically dynamic artificial fish habitat, providing the type of water column coverage preferred by species that suspend in and around cover in deeper water. Use the Canopy alone, or combine with our other Live Series products and in no time you’ll have your very own crappie hole or “slot bass” producer.
To create complete top-to-bottom water column coverage for fish species seeking to suspend in deeper water, combine and arrange multiple units vertically. The buoyant materials will allow for the upright presentation of this habitat, even when placed on slopes.
Like all the Honey Hole Live Series artificial fish habitat, the Honey Hole Canopy is made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), very easy to deploy, and less apt to snag your lures than naturally occurring habitat. The limbs fold out from the main aluminum hub and lock into place in seconds. And, with its dual color variation flexible leaves, structural complexity and dynamic movement, the Canopy effectively mimics natural cover, but without the degradation. It’ll show up on your depth finder season after season.
Includes: (1) Fully Assembled Honey Hole Canopy consisting of a Single Center Stem; Aluminum Housing with (4) Center Floats and (10) Limbs, each with an Inner Float, (1) 10’ x 1/8” Stainless Cable, (2) Galvanized Shackles
$269 each
Like all the Honey Hole Live Series artificial fish habitat, Honey Hole Grass is designed to mimic the structural complexity and dynamic movement of natural cover. The flexible, dual-colored leaves and limbs are made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) to imitate live growth, but are snag and decay resistant, so you don’t have to worry about lost lures or replacing your fish habitat.
You can deploy the Honey Hole Grass in three different ways: You can leave the 3 galvanized metal bases separate, combine them into an S-curve, or a connect them in a circular pattern to cover large underwater surfaces. Or, even better, combine this fish habitat with our other habitats – the Honey Hole Reeds and Honey Hole Brush – to establish multi-depth fish habitat for proper fish population management.
Includes: (3) Galvanized Metal Bases, (6) Honey Hole Grass Stems, (1) Stainless Hardware Kit
$99 each
Big bass and other game fish like to suspend around flooded reeds and cattails. Our biologists developed the Honey Hole Reed fish attractor to replicate this type of habitat to help pond and lake owners manage their fish populations. The Honey Hole Reed is effective vertical habitat for fish congregation, and works especially well when deployed along drop-offs, deep bays and creek channels.
The Honey Hole Reed is made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and replicates the structural complexity and dynamic movement of natural cover. Unlike natural cover, however, the Honey Hole Reed won’t decay or snag your lures they way cut trees will! It is self-righting and easy to deploy – just toss it into the water and forget about it.
Includes: (6) Reeds – 3 sets of 2 stems each, (2) Stainless Quick Connects, (3) 2’ Segments of ¼” Galvanized Chain
$139 each
